I'm not sure about you, but I have grown tired of the dreadful Spandex! For this reason Anelehs Atelier creates fashion for plus size women while turning away from spandex. Our latest collection is eyelet. Eyelet gives a sense of Elegance, Power & Style which is why we chose this fabric for our spring/summer 2017 collection. We have made it our business to make sure that every curve is met with our luxury breathable eyelet fabric. Always remember, just because you are plus size does not mean that you are restricted to stretchy fabrics. Our collection features our most proud piece "THE EYELET RAINCOAT"! YES ! I said an eyelet raincoat.

Check out our website for more details on this item.

  • I'm Done With The Over Sized-Plus Size Fashion Movement I'm Done With The Over Sized-Plus Size Fashion Movement

Is it just me? or am I the only one that is tired of frumpy clothing for plus size and curvy women. People are always saying the shirt needs to cover your butt and be baggy, flows or lose and my question is why?  If everything needs to be lose or oversize why do I need to wear spanxs to suck everything in. I want to wear comfortable clothes that fit my curves that I feel good in. That is why I started my own clothing line. All my life I felt like the lose baggy clothing was hiding me and not just my body but my personality but now I'm done hiding. Its time to be free and look like a queen ladies. Let the plus size revolution begin. Don't get me wrong I love whimsy flowing fabrics but I expect it to fit me like the perfect double D bra or the perfect set of angel wings given to me by god as was my body.

Shopping used to be a nightmare for me, my top was a medium to large and my hips were between a 1x and a 2x. In my whole life I was only able to buy 1 dress that actually fit my shape and size (FYI I'm 28 years old). I now see the need for separates ladies. I have been working on our Spring2016 cruise collection and I have been taking this into account. Any Suggestion ladies on what you what to wear, any problems your having with your wardrobe. Let me know I have a pear shape but if you are not talk comment bellow on your Curvy Girl Issues #curvygirlissues #anelehs.Follow, Comment and Subscribe

  • My Fashion Love Story My Fashion Love Story

0 comments / Posted on by Helena Wilson

I first fell in love with fashion when I was about ten years old. Whether it was poetry, painting, or just sketching in my notebook during class, I was just in love with an artistic imagination of objects.  One day while in library class, I came across a Vogue magazine.  I think Oprah Winfrey was on the cover or something of that nature, and remembering flipping through the pages and just feeling my heart beat fast.  Happy, surprised, excited, and intrigued by what I saw. Bang! Lights on! I was in love with fashion. From that day forward everything I created was about fashion, from drawing dresses and coming up with my own designs. As designs were popping into my head,  I would do my best to get them on paper before I could forget. However, like every love story, I would have stumbling blocks that came against my newly found love.

Even though I loved fashion, it didn't love me back. Pear shaped since childhood made shopping an unpleasant experience.  I would always love shopping until I stepped into that dressing room and let me tell you, the struggle is real! I had three major issues with fashion; pricing, sizing, and availability. Everything I really wanted to buy wasn't in my size, and if I was lucky enough to find my size the price would be outrageous for something as simple as a pair of pants. However, I was not going to give up on love. I'd save the money, come back and try to buy the item. Alas, therein lied the last issue I faced when shopping.  I don't know if it was just me, but everywhere I went would only carry one in the biggest sizes, and it would always be sold out. My entire wardrobe was only ever at 17% because of that. Every time this happened I felt like I'd been cheated on but, I still couldn't let go. There had to be a space for me in fashion's heart and there were few specialty stores. They always lacked the style and look I loved about fashion. The crisp, clean, edgy, elegant, beauty that makes you gasp when you see it. That was what I  fell in love with. A couple of years ago it finally dawned on me to just create the wardrobe I want to have. Since then, fashion and I have been madly in love with every piece I stitch together. Moral of the story, never give up on your true love.
